That’s a wrap for Maths Week 2026!

Maths Week is an all-island celebration about promoting a positive attitude towards Maths.

This year, Maths Week celebrated it’s 21st anniversary, and it was a huge success. The recap video above shows only a snippet of what occurred last week across the island. The amount of work that goes into the week wouldn’t be possible without all of the partners, sponsors, presenters, and the Maths Week team. Public events such as Maths in the City brings Maths to all, schools events like game tournaments and maths magic presentations, a walk to retrace Hamilton’s footsteps, gallery displays, webinars, Maths Week TV… there’s almost too much to list, and it’s all thanks to everyone that was involved.

On social media, schools also shared what they were doing for Maths Week, and there was a lot! It was great to see the different ways everyone is engaging with Maths in their classrooms.

Maths Week has a huge impact and involves a great number of people, and it’s rewarding to see the smiles and laughs along the way. Great job to everyone who was involved!
