Fleadh Cheoil 2025

CALMAST (Centre for the Advancement of Learning of Maths, Science and Technology) was delighted to engage with the public attending the recent Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Wexford.

Calmast was pleased to be part of the SETU – South East Technological University- presence at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2025, in Wexford Town from 7 to 10 August. This annual festival, organised by Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann in association with Wexford County Council is the world’s largest celebration of Irish music, song, and dance, drawing over 800,000 visitors this year!

Calmast delivered hands-on STEM activities, puzzles and games for all the family on the 7 and 8 August as part of SETU’s diverse engagement. SETU’s presence at the Fleadh underscores its commitment to promoting Irish culture and supporting the arts.
