Carlow First Responders comprises volunteers whose services are the first line of defence between a patients chances of living and dying in an emergency. This presentation highlights the work of the CFRs. The science behind keeping someone alive until medical personnel arrive is explained, and interactive demonstrations will allow participants to practice CPR and compressions and measure their efficacy.
