Niamh Shaw has always loved space and when she was young dreamed of one day being a part of it. But with a lack of role models in her midst in those formative years, she was too scared to try to achieve such an impossible dream. Haunted by her dream, she finally began the quest in earnest in 2014, using her skills as a performer, writer, engineer, and scientist. Inspired by the overview effect experienced by astronauts upon seeing Earth for the first time, she wants to use her quest to encourage people to pursue their life’s passions and join her as she realises hers…
