Coordinated by Calmast across the island of Ireland since 2006, Maths Week attracted over 400,000 participants in 2021, through online live activities, workshops and demonstrations. Following a ‘Maths for All’ ethos engaging all ages through fun and interesting maths challenges. Maths Week Ireland will take place using a hybrid delivery format. The festival was awarded the ‘Best Education Outreach Award’ in 2021 and was Highly Commended in the ‘Widening Participation or Outreach Initiative of the Year’ during The Awards 2021.
