SETU’s Women in Technology 2026
We were delighted to support the SETU’s Women in Technology event organised by the Department of Maths and Computing at SETU, where over 1,200 secondary school girls were in attendance.
The Calmast puzzle zone was filled with students taking on challenges. Puzzles are a fantastic way to introduce young people to technology, engineering, maths, and science in a fun and engaging way. It encourages critical thinking, creativity, and perseverance.
Watching students experiment and keep trying until they solved a challenge showed exactly what STEM learning is all about. And once one puzzle was solved with a big “aha!”, there was excitement to move right into the next one!
It was great to be a part of inspiring the next generation of thinkers. Thank you to everyone involved in organizing this event.
