Imagine a farm – you’re probably thinking of fields, a barn, sheep and cattle, farmers Michael and Aoife taking care of their crops and animals. But what if we told you there was artificial intelligence, molecular communication networks and computing systems making the life of Aoife and Michael much easier and dairy production much more efficient? Not only that, technology also significantly improves animals’ lives and health, enables sustainable farming and helps to reduce the impact on the environment.

Dr Sasi Balasubramaniam, Director of Research VistaMilk, is looking at using ICT Technologies for Future Dairy and will dive deep into the different topics researched at VistaMilk: from the application of Artificial Intelligence r all the way to engineering molecular communications and computing systems.
