STEAM Square at Spraoi International Street Arts Festival 2026

A great weekend at Spraoi International Street Arts Festival 🎉

Over the August bank holiday weekend, our incredible team of volunteers, including volunteers from EU-CONEXUS, joined together with the Physics Buskers to transform Waterford’s Cathedral Square into STEAM Square for two days of hands-on discovery and fun.

Visitors explored a wide range of interactive activities, including maths games and puzzles, chromatography, our Tessellation Station, and Mary Boole’s Cross Stitching. The Physics Buskers also wowed the crowds with engaging demonstrations and interactive experiments, including a rocket show 🚀

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to explore, experiment, and engage with STEAM, and to our amazing volunteers whose enthusiasm and dedication made the weekend such a success.
