Irish Science Teacher's Association's Annual Conference

The ISTA's annual conference is a chance to explore the major problems and possibilities presented to science teachers every day.

The ISTA's annual conference is an opportunity for teachers around the country to engage with new ideas and reflect on their own views about education. The conference has consistently delivered the caliber of talks and workshops which are required for such high levels of critical thought to flourish, and this year's conference was no different. The diversity of activities was broad and informative while Gorey Community School, where the conference was held, was very obliging and generous.

The talks and workshops over the three days were very informative, showing how best to engage with scientifically curious people. We would highly recommend the conference to anyone involved in the communication of science to the public; either in the classroom or outside of it.
