From 18th-26th May 2024 we will celebrate Ireland’s biodiversity and natural heritage, and uncover the challenges we face in the UN’s Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. Through the festival we will share the good news conservation stories from around the South East that inspire and give us hope for a future with wild places, filled with wildlife. The Bealtaine Living Earth Festival aims to encourage a greater understanding and appreciation of the natural world and the need to protect it.

Visitor centres, groups and individuals concerned with biodiversity, sustainability, wellbeing, our rich natural heritage and the environment will showcase the extraordinary things we all have right here at our doorstep.
